			<description><![CDATA[<p>I stand corrected, it looks like you can claim tickets in VA by mail. Sorry. I&#x27;m always cautious when dealing with state lotteries, especially by mail, since I have heard some real horror stories about people who mailed lottery tickets (for prizes $100 and over) and never got their prize or tickets back! If you possibly can, it&#x27;s always best to claim any lottery prize in person.-Todd</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Try calling the lottery in Va. if the winning are for less then 600.oo you should be able to sign the ticket and mail it in. Just remember that if you do to send it certified and that they are like other goverment agancies they will take a long time sending you your money back.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>You really don&#x27;t have many options. The prize MUST be claimed within the state in which it was purchased. I don&#x27;t believe Virginia has any provisions for cashing lottery tickets by mail (I don&#x27;t know of any state that does). Somehow you or someone you know must physically claim the prize at a lottery agent anywhere in Virginia.-Todd</p>]]></description>
