You can play all 1000 possible combinations,you match odds, you have a winning ticket, you collect your winnings. If your winnings is less than you paid for all those tickets, you still loser.JackP.S. - Those who match odds are losers, only those who beat the odds are winners.

go ahead and match the odds so you too can win. Match the odds and you are a loser. One has to beat the odds pretty handily in order to come out ahead. The pay-outs relative to the odds are pretty poor. That's how the lottery commissions make money. Think of it as the vig.In fact, I read that the old neighborhood numbers game - which have been mostly put out of business by the lotteries -- used to have the best payouts.

I think winning Pick-3 is reasonable, you are not going to win all the time, but if you play everyday you may win like at least $100 a week with ST/BX. Pick-4 is more difficult but you can win too! The Big Game and Pick 6 is a different story.

Sure, they know appromiately how many people are going to win and what their payout going to be, that is the reason they decide the odds and amount of payout before starting a lottery. It amazes me when some pick three player has 30 numbers boxed and hit 1:5 or some of their numbers hit as much as 5-7 times some where in the country's 45 or so drawings, they claim they have a gift for picking numbers, when actually all they have done is matched the odds. i received an email and it said that big game is rigged. hope it's not true. they know before hand what nos. will win , what machine will draw that nos. and what ff. states will win. they also know before hand how many people in a certain state will win etc... like new jersey is winning alot right now because they are promoting the game there. that's why easy pick is always the winner because they have control over it. they have control of the balls, too. is this true or what??? if it's true the... It's not rigged, how do they know who picked the winning ticket? It's not like they say let's give Jack the money because he is my friend. It could only be rigged if they looked at their computers and choose picks that nobody had, but I doubt it because they would have let the jackpot grow, unless all possible combinations were covered? But, that too is unlikely, so the lottery is not fixed

the rock says it is not that hard to rig the lottery. im sure they can fiddle with their super-computers and make it more difficult to win. and rigging the lotto isn't impossible. if you have ever seen the movie Lucky Numbers that was based on a true story, if the people in real life werent stupid they couldve cheated the lotto. it is possible and im sure there is some type of rigging going on.

God you Americans love your conspiracies.Why on earth would they take the risk of rigging the game when the odds are so much in their favor anyway???Could you imagine the lawsuits if the game was found to be rigged? Every man and his dog would be sueing the lottery to get their money back. All it would take is one disgruntled worker on the inside to go to the press (But maybe the aliens would abduct him before he has a chance to snitch!!??).
