Last weekend was a holiday weekend. As people go on summer vacations, they usually spend less on tickets.

$15 mil?.....wish it was higher....I checked...sales where less then half on the first $28 mil MM jackpot....but what else is knew. I still want to know how CA LottoPlus can go from $19 to $26 mil and Texas can go $12 to $16 Mil. There's alot of people in those two states, but not that many. Hmmm.....oh ya, there's currently bigger jackpots in several of those 9 states with alot less odds. Somewhat' saids it all. The Mega Millions jackpot starts at $10 million because if the initial jackpot was not subsidized, fewer people would play immediately after a jackpot hit. Likewise, that is why the first rollover automatically adds $2 million to the pot instead of basing the jackpot entirely on expected sales.
