Glad I could help. As I pointed out in my earlier post, by defining parameters that hopefully include the winning combinations I will pick my numbers from a smaller pool of combinations thus bettering my odds of picking a winner. RJOh

I understand now... I noticed in your 15 random picks that you had all the right numbers plus 3 out of the five in the right column as well as the bonus ball...you may be right, maybe a larger selection will show the winner. thanks for your help...good luck

Consider the MagaMillion game first. For 52 numbers there are 2598960 possible combinations. For 43 numbers (10-52) there are 962548 possible combinations. 962548/2598960 = .370 or 37%, which means that 37% of all possible combination of 5/52 contain double digits only. 63% of all possible combinations of 5/52 contain one or more single digits. can you help me on my math? I am trying to figure the percentage out on just the first column number. there are only 9 (1-9) single digits and 39 double digit (10-48) chances for the first column number. that averages out to a 20 percent chance that the first column number is a single digit (1-9). Using the last 25 draws including the big game why has there been a single digit first number over 60% of the time.
