That a little different than my theory. I play all 49 numbers which usually takes $9 or $10, hoping if I arrange them accoring to parameters established by looking at past drawings, a winner is in the group somewhere. Last month I matched 5/6 on a $10 ticket using that system so I'm trying to refine it. Megamillions doesn't have enough history to establish any parameters, so I will use Biggame history. that was a good read...and it follows my logic....untill it gets to music....I always play the 6/49 as an event or a 6 hurdle race...in order to continue racing tou must clear the first hurdle...in order to win the lottery you must get the first number....I play 10 combinations....($10) i get over the first hurdle 75% of the time using 7 numbers....the last hurdle is just as easy....now i'm down to the four hurdles in the middle...those are the toughest....and yet using 36 numbers i have had all... $5 is better than nothing, but I wished I had 49 where the 43 was. I found a site 'The Lottery Mine' that has some research information on 649 games which might be of interest. http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Bay/4696/There was a program that works like the one I wrote in Basic to figure out possible combination when you limit numbers by position. My program take a couple of hours, this one works in less than 2 seconds on my computer.RJOh

looks like you hit 3 out of 6 plus the bonus ball...well done. I could only manage 3 out of 6 twice with no bonus ball. well it looks like were half way there most of the time
