That's what I do. I play 1 ticket with the Power Play for $2. I had 2 numbers in the last drawing, just missing out on $35 by one number. When the jackpot gets higher, I'll probably buy 5 or more tickets and drop the Power Play.

With a relatively low Powerball jackpot, the PowerPlay bet makes more sense (ie, better to take $2 and buy a ticket with PowerPlay than purchase two combinations w/out PowerPlay.) Of course, by the time Powerball reaches $125 million, you might as well play only for the jackpot.

It's $1 per bet, meaning if you play 10 sets of numbers for $10 and choose the PowerPlay it'll cost you $20 in all. Personally I'd rather save some money and just go with a straight bet.

Yeah...i just checked it out...there was a winner on the 4th from penn. Well have fun with the all the publicity tomorrow and good luck with the mega millions...maybe you brought luck to this place and just maybe i can get the 5 white balls tomorrow

ive hit the pa cash 5 twice with 4 out of 5 numbers each for over $300. ive won $500 in a turkey raffle and once i hit for $1000 on an illegal slot machine in the back of a pool hall.

actually it was a couple hours after the drawing. i had 2 separate tickets$4 and $3. when the drawing was on i was as mobile as christopher reeves and couldnt take the numbers down. so after i woke up from that and ate some pizza i signed on and checked them and saw i had the ticket for 100k. my heart almost stopped so i lit up. i dont like the powerplay, the thought of it landing on a 1X just steers me away. but when it starts to be at least 2X i will play powerplay.

How did you find out you were a winner? TV..internet...? What were you like when you noticed you won $100,000.....and then the thought of you could have that multiplied by 5 for only a $1 more. Congrats again
