Will there still be a drawing on 9/11 ??? If so, will a smaller number of people play, or will more people play thinking that more people won't play in order to observe 9/11 ? After all, if less people play, that decreases the chances of the jackpot being shared. Usually, the jackpot is shared if more people who wait for the jackpot to get larger play.

I headed over to Indiana yesterday to cash in my $10 ticket and played for 2 draws. I had a $7 winner for yesterday and if nobody wins Wednesday I will be traveling again to cash in my tickets. I think the jackpot is high enough to attract outer state players and should start growing faster.RJOh

EZMoney: I think MUSL has a huge war chest, er, reserve fund for paying lower tier prizes. AFAIK, Powerball jackpots are based ENTIRELY on sales.

Anyone notice that Powerball went from $80 million to just $88 million for Wednesday (even with Pennsylvania selling PB tickets?) I think many people who normally play Powerball at this level will be reflecting on the first anniversary of 9/11 instead.
