Everyone in America had 9-11 on their mind. There probably wasn't a single New Yorker who didn't relive that day over and over in their mind. Much has been written on the power of the collective mind. I posted 911 and 666 for all states.........I would never, never believed it would be in New York. I had it in my numbers, I knew it would land someplace......wow....blew my mind. The nice thought is that a lot of New Yorkers who have been thru so much, can maybe use the cash. Existo I know the payout is fixed at $500. What I meant was how much as a whole the state had to payout on the number. Sorry for the confusion, and yes the number was sold out.

Being a fellow NY'er, and a avid number player this came as a shock. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the pick 3 number tonight. Now 911 hasn't hit in any order since last year, now all of sudden boom. If the lotto was giving us a freebie that's great. I love to see the payout on that number. Actually in NY the payout is always the same, it's not a paramutual pool. $500 I think, may be $600.When they reach the limit of tickets sold on any certain number thats it, its sold out. Actually I believe back in 1979 the PA Lottery's Daily Number was fixed to come up 6-6-6 and they caught the people responsible. I believe they also moved the lottery drawings to Harrisburg (from Pittsburgh) after this happened.
