			<description><![CDATA[<p>smd173: Since NY refuses to adopt the  60-day rule , I have never been 100% sure about whether the 60-day countdown starts with the day of (or day after the) drawing, or when the ticket is validated at a lottery retailer, or when the ticket is brought to the lottery HQ. It could very well be that different lotteries interpret the  60 days  differently. Of course, the 1 year/6 month limit for collecting on a ticket starts with the drawing itself, correct</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>The New York Lottery makes available the name of the store, etc of top prize winners (except perhaps for Pick 10) to the media, although not always to the public (especially for Take Five.)
