Bradly: There is even a NY scratch game that features free plays for Lotto...they all say 26 ANNUAL PAYMENTS !! (Remember that NY Lotto and NY Mega Millions players still must choose WHEN they play.) What is up with the NY LOTTO and everything being paid over 20 years? I find that so stupid. I mean all their instant games are paid over 20 years. What is up with that? After he made that shot he should of been given a check for a million dollars and thats it. $50,000 a year....what the heck. Thats bull

The million dollar half-court basketball shot is actually $50,000/yr in 20 payments with NO cash option. There is an irony-entrants had to send in a non-winning NY Mega Millions ticket. NY still requires the cash/annuity choice be made when you play. Even if his drawn ticket read CASH VALUE , he still was not allowed to collect in lump sum.
