I would play more. A Winfall game in NY would be good ONLY is the prize return is at least 50% (for NY Lotto it's _only_ 40%!) Connecticut could join Hot Lotto (or change its Classic Lotto to a Winfall-type game; however, I'd hate to see CT Classic Lotto tinkered with, or eliminated.

CASH,If a Hot Lotto or WINFALL was near you would you play more than you do now or shift your Lottery money to those games?I only spend minimal money right now (between $5-10 a week), so I'd probably play alittle bit more than I do now.

I just saw that Winfall will return 55% in prizes, vs 50% returned to players in Michigan Millions.

I just received an e-mail from MI. They said that WINFALL will be a 6/49 game. Jackpots will start at $2 million, but will be capped at $5 million; prize money will be added to ALL lower tiers when the cap is exceeded. (No info on how many prize levels, or whether an unwon $5 million jackpot would stay at $5 million.

I suppose that if Michigan were part of MUSL (Powerball), MI might have been looking at Hot Lotto to replace Michigan Millions.

The problem here in Michigan is that the lottery cannot compete with the casino payouts, odds etc. More and more people are getting fed up with it and acting accordingly.The Michigan Lottery will never offer games that hold the allure of say, Roulette. People are not stupid. The state lottery is not the only game in town.Wouldn't it be grand to offer the lottery players a game with a guaranteed 50/50 odds of doubling their money.We all know it won't happen of course. I found a message on the MI Lottery site; it said beginning next month, nothing else. BTW, Ohio needs a new game (replacing 6/49) more than MI.

Bradly: IMHO the new Change Play needs changing rather than Michigan Millions. I saw months ago that MI was looking for a different kind of jackpot game. One idea discussed was that a jackpot would be capped and that excess prize money would be added to lower tier prize(s). The name Winfall actually hints at this concept. Michigan Roll Down works in a similar way.

I just read that they are replacing Michigan Millions with a game called Winfall. Well no suprise, you could tell it was going to be replaced. But what is this game. I hate when they tell us they are starting a new game and not tell us anything about it. Anyone know anything
