I prefer to make out the cards for all my numbers because I like to play most if not all the numbers and I prefer to pick the parameters of my numbers (sum, gaps, ranges and etc). Tomorrow when I play the Megamillion games all my picks will have a sum greater than 150, I most likey will not win, but it won't be because QP gave me a bunch of lousy numbers. Actually there are no lousy numbers because any combination can be drawn, but I hear this excuse a lot from lottery players who lose. Man... [ More ]

I also buy Quick Picks. I only play Mega Millions, and I usually buy 5 -10 quick picks depending on the Jackpot. I agree with Vision, if you are meant to win, then it will happen. There is no way to increase the odds besides buying more tickets and even then, the odds barely increase. It's all the luck of the draw.

I agree with Thomas; there is nothing strange going on with Quick Picks - it is a random number generator in the lottery machine. Some random number generators are better than others - better means more random (i.e., no discernable patterns). But there is no central conspiracy

What? Quick picks are random numbers produced by a random number generator. There is just as much chance winning with quick picks as there is picking your own. Of the first 59 winners of the powerball, 41 were quick picks. That's just because a higher percentage of people use quick picks. Think that if you use the same numbers for each draw they will dventually come up? Yes, they will, but at 104 draws a year, it would take 1,150,000 years for all the combos to come up. There is nothing you can... [ More ]

Quick pick are numbers placed in blocks and are looped throughout the state or the lottery in question.I am very suspicious when a persons win comes off a quick-pick ( Not saying it couldn't or shouldn't happen ) .Regardless, like any lottery ticket, you will have bought the combo but you can be assured the chances are much lower being a single winner.Quick-picks are buffers for keeping those 1000 and 1,10000 and 1 and 120,000,000 and 1 odds in the lottery's favor. lottoscorp

The question I want to ask is this.On average if you were to play $10 worth of tickets how many of those do you think would be quick picks versus your own numbers. Also in your own opinion do you think people play more quick picks or there own numbers, and to what percentage?? Any input is greatly appreciated. BHAMSHOTCALLER
