To BugWith 1282 drawings since the Maryland 649 game started in 1990, you are going to have a lot of numbers that have matched 4 or better. I was looking at the history and every number has hitted 129-181 times and in the leastest drawings the winning combinations have matched three an aveage of 23 times and four about once and the lowest number has been as high as 34 and the highest number has been as low as 19.Good luck to youRJOh

Well, I got the program to run in 47 minutes by cutting out the graphics counter. The final number of combos, first five numba's, in the Mega Millions that haven't produced a winner is 624,039. Multiply that by 13 mega balls that haven't hit and you have 8,112,507 different ways to play them. I believe the results correct. I'll give the Maryland 6/49 a shot in awhile, and we'll all get a good laugh as my biggest win with a system has been $3, and $40 with a quick pick.

Your example does omit some of the duplicates but not all of them. 1-2-3-4-5 would be produced and duplicated with 5-4-3-2-1, so I might have to write a program to produce the numbers first. Produce all the possible numbers and then check and omit the duplicates. Storing the numbers in a file might be a pain? And I am not sure how the memory would handle something that big in a program? I know that the way the code is now I just have to divide the number the code spits out by 120, but my guess i... [ More ]

If you are going to check all 2,598,960 combination of 5's then you should use a loop that starts at 1-2-3-4-5, 1-2-3-4-6, 1-2-3-4-7.......and ends at 48-49-50-51-52 to generate the combinatins. What kind of software are you using to get your answers?RJOh

RJ,I've been working on one of your systems, numbers that have never produced a prize. I am only checking the first five numbers, which my program generates, against data from as far back as the last time they changed the odds. The only problem I'm having is with the function that generates each number to check against historical data. Since my sequence function produces duplicate combos, 1-2-3-4-5 [?] and 5-4-3-2-1 [?], combos get checked several times. The program has been humming along for aw... [ More ]
