Try opening an account at Wells Fargo in the UK. They have branches in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Well I go to US every few months once for personal reasons. I buy the Powerball with 26 draws in advance sometimes. But I am not a US citizen.I know I have the right to claim. But how do I cash the check?Can someone open a bank account in the US easily?Will the Lottery guys that pay the check assist me in opening an account

I really don't know. You're supposed to come to the US to play Powerball/Mega Millions. Then again, all US lottery prizes are taxable. You probably should be content with your 6/49 until you get into whatever international game the UK will be in.

If someone wins the Megamillions or the Powerball jackpot, can he request payment via telegraphic transfer into his bank account outside the US? (assuming he choses lumpsum)Or is his only choice is to receive a cheque?Anybody knows how the lottery people ie Poerball and Megamillions pay jackpot winners?thanks for any helpDavid
