You are right. I didn't know that. That is kinda a let down then. But I suppose it makes since. But so there is only one WINFALL everytime the Jackpot reaches 5 million. After the WINFALL then the jackpot goes back down to $2,000,000. Darn I miss understood that part. I was just thinking that they were going to pay out whatever they took in for each drawing. Oh well.Brad

Brad: I think the jackpot goes down to the minimum $2 million REGARDLESS of whether anybody hits the jackpot. If there is a winner, he/she/they get or split $5 million/$2.7 million cash. If no jackpot winner, the entire $5 million is added to the lower prizes. Also, what if the jackpot pool falls JUST SHORT of $5 million at the time of the drawing? I think you should look up the official WINFALL rules.

I know there isn't a winfall below $5 million. But since the jackpot is at $5,000,000 already if no one wins the jackpot then there will be a WINFALL and now there is going to be a winfall until there is a jackpot winner. So if there is no jackpot winner for the next 10 drawings then the next 10 drawings are going to be WINFALLS!Brad

Well hey only one drawing below the $5 million jackpot and now it is back up there. So now we have WINFALLS until there is a jackpot winner. We haven't had one yet and there has been what 6 drawings? So maybe we can have a lot of WINFALLS in a row.Brad

Don't forget Bradly, it takes a lot of money to play more the $50 for a match 3, when the odds are 1:50 of the combinations will match 3, that playing out more than is coming in and if that continue the state would go broke. What Michigan did was to spend money to get the game off to a good start, now the game is in real time.RJOh

I know it doesn't seem that after what has it been 5 drawings that it would have given out the money from Michigan Millions.....but they had to have....and there was enough left in the fund to boost the jackpot to 3 and a half million already. You would think with a $26 million jackpot from Michigan Millions that was annuitized over 30 years that it should of been around 10 million lump sum...i think it is about right.Brad

CASH,I know that is what the MI Lottery website shows, but that has to be a mistake. Right next to tonight's numbers sits the press release stating that WINFALL would have $5 Million jackpots until all of the Michigan Millions money has been used up. I believe the last Michigan Millions was worth $26 Million. I'd have to crunch the numbers, but I doubt the lower-tiers of WINFALL have paid out $26 Million in just 5 or so drawings.MI Lottery players should be very upset right now. Also 3 out of 6... [ More ]
