I got a bit of a chuckle about a foot of snow being a lot. Right after Christmas of 2001 I had to walk to a store to get a Lotto ticket with 7 feet of snow on the ground. That was a lot even for Buffalo.

We had some house guest that were snowed in with us. I sent them on a journey into town for a MegaMillion's QP. When asked if I was going to share with them I said No way in hell! . I through in the as God is my witness line.

I wanna play the lotto tonight but because of all the snow (near-blizzard) the roads are not good and I think they just might cancel it anyway

Washington, D.C. got pelted, so I'm wondering if I have the steam to walk to the liquor store for my tickets? It looks like over a foot of snow with some freezing rain this morning as a nice touch. The walk isn't that far, but I'm a wimp these days. Maybe some cabin fever will get me motivated.
