Hi Bradly...like they say ya gotta have a ticket to win . Twice a week I put 20 bucks in 4 jackpot games...'cetp once-in-awhile, when I feel like I am wasting money...then I maybe back it down to 2 bucks on each of the four games. but usually its 40 bucks a week, sometimes more.

Even if you don't buy any tickets and you are a system player, you can still test your strategy or system for picking your numbers. While you may risk picking a winner and not playing it, you will be more prepared when you start buying tickets again and its just as entertaining as if you had bought tickets. I'm a system player and enjoy playing the lotteries for entertainment, so when I'm not buying tickets I'm testing and adjusting my system so I know how I want to pick my numbers when I do b... I had a bad weekend this weekend....I spent $10 on each of the 4 drawings this weekend....and didn't get nothing....close a lot of times..but now once i think about it that is $40!!! But hey I don't need the money for anything but still....well i am laying off this week......what do you guys think

I usually spend $20 a week but if the pot gets high, greater than $50M, I'll add another ten or so.ROJ makes a great point! Think lottery as an entertainment. Don't spend if you can't afford to. As far as picking natural or QP, it's all up to you. The odds are still the same. Some people have a lot more fun picking their own selections.As far as lump sum or annuity, CHOOSE ANNUITY, it always makes sense

I play the lotteries for entertaiment. The amount I spend on the lottery is dependent on the amount I can afford for entertainment(buyiny a DVD, going out to dinner,seeing a movie and etc).RJOh

I think the important thing about how many tickets to buy mostly depends on your budget. Is there room in your budget for $24? If not, I suggest this to others ( my lotto pool people): is there a way to come up with the money by using food coupons to save on groceries or spending less or no money on junk food each week or eating out in order to free up dollars? Hi,How much money do you spend to buy lottery tickets per month? Do you buy for every drawing or only when the jackpot value is high? I am thinking of buying 3 lottery tickets for each megamillions drawing, that means $24 per month, is it too much? Thanks.
