The winning ticket was purchased in Circle Food Market located on Tenafly Road in Englewood NJ.It was a quick pick ticket and unfortunately, the winner chose lump sum. NJ lets the player switch though. Let's hope that she or he will come to senses and collect the huge jackpots over the 26 annual installments.

As I understand those games, only the Jackpot winners are FORCED to receive their winnings in annunity payments, everybody else get a their winnings in a lump sum and jackpot winners are less than .00000001% of all the players. More than 99.9% of the players get their winnings in lump sum. Until you actually win one of those jackpots, you have little to complain about.RJOh

RJ: There are still games where the player is FORCED to receive annuity payments in lieu of cash (Mass. 6/42 and 6/49; high-end scratch games in Mass, NY and possibly other states.) Be thankful that all other US jackpot lotto games have a cash option.

To CASH Only,The only lottery players that are effected by the annuities only policies are the winners of which there are fewer than 50 a year for most lotteries. Why should a lottery change its format to please the losers of which there are thousands? Losers may have an opinion, but who cares.RJOh

Does anyone know at what store last night's winner from Englewood, NJ was purchase? God, all my friends and family live in that town including myself. We all play the game! I think I'll need to start calling. We usually buy from this one store. Any info?However, I didn't win. I checked.
