I also posted 100 numbers for the NewYork lotter. All numbers are use at least 10 times and none has matched 5 or more in the past 168 drawings.RJOh

I posted a list of 300 numbers for the 4/23 Ohio649 lottery, I used each numbers at least 36 times and pick them randomly within certain perameters. It will be interesting to see the result after wednesday's drawing.RJOh

With the jackpot being $50M, I think that most anyone who have two chances to be in the game for a buck, is going to be willing to loss a dollars regardless of the bad odds.RJOh

Jeeves: Two games for a buck is not a bargain, especially for NY Lotto. Paper is wasted.When TAKE FIVE began in 1992, nobody complained that they were getting one play for $1 vs two plays in the previous game, because TAKE FIVE pays back 50% vs 38-40% in the game it replaced.Even with two plays for $1, winning $16 by matching four numbers is a joke.

But with the current jackpot now at $50 Million, you just have to throw in few bucks to play.Better Jackpot odds vs. MM and better jacpot prize, plus two games for a buck.For us NYers, it'll allow us to play both NY Lotto and the MM this weekend.OH Wait! Cash,That's true and interesting and the choice of the player. In trying to predict numbers (in our tool or forecast way) the main focus is to improve the odds for the player and though that to minimize the losses . In New York Lotto that will not bring very much reduction of losses I guess when you only get a buck for a 3/6 hit or 16 bucks for a 3/4, it's not a player-friendly lottery .

Cash,You seem to know a lot about the NY Lottery. Do you know what they do with the other 60% (how it's allocated?). As a NYer, if they're channeling some proceeds for the good of the city, I have no problems with their current payouts.

Everett:NY Lotto returns only 38-40% to players! If the prize pool was the usual 50%, they easily could have made 3/6 pay $3 and also add to the 4/6 prize. NY Lotto 59 began before Mega Millions came to NY, so the NY 6/59 was designed to pay chicken feed for the smaller prizes in order to be able to compete jackpot-wise with Powerball, (then) Big Game, etc.

That's apparently the general problem with today's jackpot games.When your chances to win 3/6 are 1 hit within 96 and you get $1 when you hit it for a 50c play, I would pick another lottery game to play.

RJOh, Thanks for your messages and interest.I had to try the PICK 6 Bonus Number Tool (6/59 is of course faily tough!)The assumptions:Only between 2 and 4 high/lows and 2 and 4 even odds.(So one problem is this case we had 5 lows and 1 high!)One Repeat Number from the previous drawingThat one was correct!I eliminated 5 numbers 10, 22, 25, 43, 34 to test (those numbers were drawn twice within the last 4 drawings)That was partially correct (43 was the bonus number)The result is pretty meager.Too m... That's a nice size lists. Are there any repeated combinations in it? Does it has any advantages over 250 Quick Picks?Before I retired, I played in several pools for the Powerball, Biggame and the Ohio649 and the questions that was always asked was ' Is there an advantage to making out a large number of cards from a list to just buying the same number of QP's?
