i play it because its fun but i try to win i always have a bad luck with it sometimes i also lose alot of my money on it the lottery and cant get my whole thousand dollars back that i play with the lottery last few years back and right now of this year 2003.

I think that it depends.A lot of people who are retired will play the lottery in order to give winnings to their children and their grandchildren. ORIf you absolutely love what you do, then you are not as likely to play. I know friends who are in professional school and have been trying to get into their chosen profession since college, and they usually don't even bother to buy lottery tickets. $5850 on $45000 is +13% so for which could be +45% apr by the end of the year. I'm only getting 2.7% on my CD's. I just may have to take a better look at the pick3 games. I've been playing the jackpot games and I'm in the red.RJOh

Your entitled too your opinion Annuity because I use too believe that myself but not anymore.Luck has a lot too do with it when you buy quick-picks or select your numbers out of a Hat.But when you use skill and logicLuck doesn't apply,I personally don't believe in Luck so it doesn't apply too me.

Winning a Jackpot type lottery is pure freaking luck no matter how you look at it.Positive thinking does NOT apply in playing the lottery. Yes, positive thinking can apply to certain things in life.When I purchase my MM ticket for a buck, I don't say to myself... I will win.

I play the lottery because I would like to win the jackpot. I know it's a gamble and I've got to be lucky, but I only gamble what I can afford to lose. When I want to support the schools and other services the state provides, I vote yes for the taxe levies. The State levies taxes on cigarettes and whisky to support some of their services, but I don't think any one smokes and drinks just to support those services. If I wasn't hoping to win, I wouldn't play.RJOh

I ask this question because I hope no one here is playing hoping to get rich playing the food or rent money. I play for fun and because the money I spend I hope goes to education and projects to help the people of the State. When I go to Atlantic City I take an amount of money to LOSE and if I win that's great.
