JAP69,There are certainly more the 12 five digit wheels. This is mathematically an optimization problem, similar to the coverage of e.g how many sets do I need in a 6 out of 49 lottery to get at least 3 numbers correctly (or include all 3 number combinations)In this case the question is how many 5 five digit wheels to I need to have all 120 3 no-match number combintations included. Thanks Lucky,That is similiar to what I had in mind although I was wondering how many five digit wheels there are to catch all 120 box combinations.the five digit wheel as you have it will give me 10 box combinations with 60 straight plays .If I were to get 10 box combinations on a five digit wheel. Then there may possibly be 12 five digit wheel combinations.I may figure them out later. John, I don't know if this is what you mean, but you can get 60 plays with 5 digits and if you want a 120 plays you have to use all 10 digits... Below is a example of 5 digits with 60 plays... 123132213231312321 124 142214241412421125152215251512521 134143314341413431 135153315351513531 145154415451514541 234243324342423432 235253325352523532 245254425452524542 345354435453534543----------------------------I always pick 3 Hot 1 Prior 1 hot or Due... I am going to expand the discussion on wheels a little more. Obviously I have not figured out how many combinations there are but I use wheels from time to time selecting my digits for the wheel from different data keeping. As there are 120 no match box numbers in the three game. Does anyone know how many wheel combinations of five digit wheels are there to take in all 120 possible combinations?Likewise for a four digit wheel.If you have them could you post them for us?Thanks
