Super 7 may actually work as the smaller jackpot option in PA. But only if they bring back the 7-11 format. I don't care if they draw from 74 or 80 balls with that format, but I always liked the 7 of 11 format better than the 7 of 10.Although, have any other lotteries ever brought back retired games

Last year we got Ohio to improve the cash/annuity %.At least Ohio otherwise didn't make the cash increase faster than the annuity.

Sure thing. I'm still amazed by the new annuity/cash value and how they are increasing. IF I played Super 6 i'd be better off cause I'd of course take the cash but it's still very shifty.

smd:September (after Labor Day) had/has been a popular time to make changes/offer new games. Because of 9/11, it probably is different. (The current NY 6/59 game began 9/9/2001-the first drawing was 9/12, and was not televised.)I seem to remember Super-6 beginning in October (1998.)I'm guessing Super-6 will make it into 2004. Don't know if PA is waiting for a jackpot hit before announcing its overdue demise.

It'll be interesting to see if Super 6 rollsover more than $500K after the next time PB is hit. It didn't really last time, but it was just near $30 Mil at the time.If it's around $40 Mil and PB is at $10, and no one gets tickets, hopefully PA will realize it's time to 86 it.

CASH,I'm pretty sure you are correct about the 90 day rule. Although I'm also pretty sure the PA would only be required to roll over any leftover money from Super 6 into the PRIZE FUND and not necessarily the new game.Although at this point, if PA doesn't replace Super 6 with Keno, it's my opinion they will replace it with a new homegrown jackpot game.

smd:AFAIK the PA Lottery has to give 90 days' advance notice before they make a game change or introduce a new game. I know I read it somewhere. PA should announce TOMORROW that Super-6 will be retired just after Labor Day (9/11 withstanding, September is a favorite time for new games).

While that is true, the chances of them winning Super 6 are about nil, so they would be better off playing PB and taking home some of the great lower-tier payoffs.

Super-7 was a jackpot-driven game; however, it NEVER had a cash option.I think PA dventually will have a keno/Quick Draw game, but, I expect Super-6 to be replaced by a smaller-scale jackpot lotto game.

The PA Lottery is the only one in the US that made use of pick-7 jackpot games for so long (Super-7: 7/11/80, later 7/10/74; then Keystone Jackpot, 6/33 + 1/33.) Both S-7 and KJ were always annuity-only.
