			<description><![CDATA[<p>Just for the curious...  I took the numbers mentioned from Maryland and ran them against all drawings of the Daily 3 in Minnesota since it started in 1990.  Hitting all three was slightly under the statistical average (they hit an average of 4.875 times, whereas the statistical average would have been 5.06 times).  You would have hit 2 numbers 1:5 times, which is slightly better than average.  So, I&#x27;m not seeing anything magical here. This is getting interesting because I noticed if I could predict one number all I have to do is check which other numbers it falls with in these eight combinations and you have a winner. You would need 18 additional combinations to cover the doubles.  To match three of all boxed hits that are not double, you would need 120 combinations, and an additional 90 combinations to cover the doubles and another 10 to cover the triples or 220 combinations in all.
