Thankyou Orangeman :)I agree that 2 step will die. Well, changing the Lottery Executive Director every few years as they have done doesn't help. Everybody has a different idea about what to do, and all these implemented changes make the players game suffer. I read that Gov Perry will veto joining a multi-state game, but what I'm reading now sounds like he'll pass it. So, we'll have to wait see on this one. I think we will join in the end tho.

The Texas Lotto will die a merciful death in spite of the fact that the alleged legislators who approved it believe Powerball and Texas Lotto can co-exist side-by-side. I predict Texas Lotto will suffer for obvious reasons. Poor payouts, lousy odds and a history of ignoring the public will destroy Texas Lotto. mmmm, when they said:*The House and Senate approved Texas joining Powerball through a revived measure late Sunday. *I took it to mean the game PB. NM LA already are PB states, TX would be stupid to go with MM. MM is going to die dventually anyway. why would they change the odds when TX joins? I hope they don't change the game as 1: 120 million odds suck enough. SHEESH

I agree with CASH, I took the article to either be using Powerball in a generic sense (even though they used a capital P) or the writer of the article doesn't realize there are 2 multi-state lotteries. (very possible).Powerball has and always will be a better brand name than the Big Game or Mega Millions.
