Thomas, if you really want to understand then just re-read the post again. This time read more slowly, then you just might get it. The post assumes that the reader has the abliity to add and subtract, and come to logical conclusions as to ways they would manage this method. Thomas, until you understand probability you don't have the means to understand any of these post that 99% of the forum members write. It's not polite to take things out of context and ignore whole paragraphs of explanatio... [ More ]

Odds for a 6 way box is 1/166. Which means there are 166 possible combinations. Of these 166 possible combinations for a 6 way box you picked 120 combinations. Which can be expressed as 120/166. Which can also be expressed as your 120 picks is 72% of the total possible combinations(166). If your hits average 72%, and you pick 72% of the possible number combinations, I really don't see how this could be better than random chance, as it doesn't beat the odds. No I'm not taking the things you say t... [ More ]

Thomas Covenant, your reputation on this forum was pretty much exposed by Prometheus last week. Your math ability sucks. Unfortunately, so does your reading comprehension. You evidently have no concept of any reasonable strategy about lottery. You are here to argue for it's own sake and have been demoted from protagonist to that of a bothersome little gnat. You get on here and stink up the place with wild , trumped up, unfounded, pompus proclamations of your opinion and it's importance. What it... [ More ]

What kind of hit? Straight? 6 way box? Where did you get the 72%? If you take your core numbers (120) and divide that by the number of possible 6 way combinations (166) you get 72%. In other words, your core numbers are no better than random chance. Your Hits 72% of the Time is very misleading. It only hits 72% of the time if you buy all 120 numbers, even then you lose money.

Hits 72% of the time My suggestion is to break these into groups of 10 numbers. Sorry ...my chart lines did not post. You will end up with 12 groups of 10. I code my hits like thisColumn A group 5.... A5 or Column B group 3 asB3 If you play just one of the group of 10 numbers you will have a 1 in 12 chance of a hit.......play 2 of the 10 number groups and your chances are 1 in 6 etc. If you log the hits it will end up looking like this: A4 A2 A6 A1 B5 B3 B5 B1 B1 A2 A3 . If you see a strin... [ More ]
