In NJ the rip offs ..er scratch offs usually run in 7-8 . That is evry 7 or 8 scratch offs is a winner if you call a 2 dollar win on a 2 dollar ticket a win. Is there a way to mathmatically look at serial numbers to determine how close you are to that 7 or 8th ticket

When there is a big jackpot I like to go to around 5 different stores to purchase my tickets. They are usually the stores that have had big winners and the ones that I have had luck winning there. I don't mind giving myself an edge on winning. I also find that if I have a repore with the owners or people who work there it also brings me luck. Nothing like playing off each other's luck. Perhaps one of my luck spots is due for a big win and it will be off my ticket.Actually I was looking at the... [ More ]

I did what you were thinking about doing a year ago in VA. on the Cash 5. I took $250.00 and a Saturday and drove around a 50 radius of Virginia and bought 1000 easy picks total at about ten different stores to try to win $25,000. My mentality was the same as yours. Spread my luck out.My result was sickening. I won $33.00 back. It was a gamble and a one time shot and I won t do it again.

It doesn't have to be 20 it could be as little as 5 and if buying 20 quick-picks at 1 store doesn't work then try 20 tickets at 20 different stores. If a player doesn't have the time or gas then just do 5 tickets at 5 different stores. The only reason I brought it up was because many people buy a bunch of tickets at there favorite location with no luck and even though the tickets are generated randomly some machines seem to do better than others. So the idea was to spread your tickets among differe... [ More ]

To Pick-4 Master,Have you test that 20 Tickets Strategy to see if all that extra traveling, gas money and time is worth it? If the terminals really pick numbers randomly, wouldn't you have the same advantage by finding a busy terminal and buy 20 tickets at 20 different times? If one likes to excercise, I suppose one could combine buying tickets with a running or walking routine and have a win-win combo. Just looking at this strategy from outside the box.RJOh
