Quick Picks can't be all bad.I keep an eye on NY's Take 5 drawing and QP's aren't all that bad for picking winners.Out of the past 510 drawings, there were 1063 1st prize winners. 521 of these are shown to be QP selections. That amounts to a succcess rate of 49%.Think I may play QP's more often since I'm not doing so hot otherwise.

That is so true. When quick-picks have consecutive strings of numbers, they can win just as easily as the others. That MM qp that was purchased by Bernadette Gietka for the June 20 drawing; when she first saw those numbers starting with 1,2,3...she claimed she almost threw away the ticket. When I saw one, two, three, I thought I should throw it right in the trash, she said. Lucky for her she didn't. It later matched the MM jackpot numbers.

What is so bad about those QP? Just check Megamillions past winners.06/20/03 01-02-03-37-42 +3507/25/03 33-46-47-50-51 +30Your QP just looks bad because they didn't win. We all think we know what a winning number looks like because we see so many losers. Every set of numbers look like a loser until they win.RJOh

Not that my selections are any better, but many times the Quick Picks I'm dealt are just awful; like 3 consecutive numbers (42-43-44), 2 sets of consecutive numbers (39-40 then 48-49), one or two of the same numbers on every line, all even, all odd, or anything that never or rarely happens in a drawing...
