For those of you who want to compare, for example, Minnesota vs NY because of the Twins/Yankees playoff series, the Minnesota Lottery IMO is better than the NY Lottery, and not just because of Hot Lotto.

Hq:You may have read that PA has announced they'll be a new game in early 2004...I'm guessing they'll try to wait until after Stupid-6 is won before saying what it is.

46 rollovers? wow!cash5 is lucky to get any more than 4 rollovers... and stupid 6 hasn't been hit since PA got the Powerball... (lack of interest I guess, even tho the JP is over $50,000,000... Since we already have PB here, maybe Hot Lotto would be the ticket to replace the stupid 6. In my home town, I noticed that the sales of lottery tickets goes up when ever the local news service covers a story about a large PowerBall jackpot even though Ohio doesn't sell PowerBall tickets. People who don't keep up with the different lotteries and don't play very often hear the story, get lotto fever and decide to buy some lottery tickets, any lottery tickets. Anyone go through the number of (gamewide) winners for Hot Lotto, and notice a spike in the # of winners approaching Christmas 2002, and around July 4 this year, even though (on-line) lottery sales historically decrease around major holidays, and during the summer? It seems that when PB goes well over $100 million ($315m Xmas 2002 and over $260m last month), the six-state Hot Lotto game pulls in more players, since of course Hot Lotto is a MUSL game, and they are already playing PB via the sam...
