yeah i'd try to keep anonymous also but im not playing in that drawing. i think it might get harder the bigger the jackpot gets. obviously the person winning the joke of a jackpot in megamillions could easily stay anonymous but if you win say 300 million or more i think you can kiss being anonymous goodbye.

Well, I would most definitely keep it quiet, mostly for the safety of my children, who are still in school. Also, you wouldn't be bugged by countless hands out for your $$$.Also, by protecting it in a trust, you can save your fortune if someone would sue you for any reason, because whatever holdings are in trust, are off the public radar.

On December 11, 1999, the Powerball winner formed a trust to claim the prize. As it turned out, the winner had not quit his or her job and did not want any publicity. It would take a while, but it has happened before, so it could be done again. Would you form a trust? Why or why not
