In PA it shouldn't matter, because the MidDay drawing is computer generated, only the night draw is from the ball machines.

Your right Sandy K I forgot to mention that this may only work for Daily games with one draw per day the 20-40 ratio.I also got the idea to test this from LottoWorld magazine it had a section on Game Draw History settings for analysis.It suggested 52 for Lottery and 40 for Daily games the other ones I found on my own from testing.I would never live in another state because just about all of them have 2 draws per day for the Pick-3/4 and there always changing there lottery games to make them hard... Pick4Master,Florida is different because it only has one draw a day. Much easier to analyze.John Blake is now in heaven and bless his soul, he helped me so much when I started working on the numbers. From analysis using different draw histories to see which gives the best positive results for tracking numbers.I used several different programs to come up with this ratio

I track individual numbers in order of occurrence. I limit my history files to 15-25 draws, depending on the data I'm using to select numbers. Numbers do repeat often, whether its paris, triples, quads, or all 5 or all 6. The fact that combination 2-10, or any other combination, came up a hundred draws ago is not a good reason not to play it in the next draw, if other indicators suggest that combination is due.

Hi Mikek,Thanks for this formula. I recently narrowly missed hitting the big one on our MaxLotto, a 16-draw-old 649 Lotto played Saturdays and that pays for hits with even TWO numbers! I am now fine tuning my lottery strategy and studying 'companion numbers' along with totals to try next time. A bit late, but I was out for a while....One of my first formulas was this one.Field-Size / Set-Size * 1.5 = Number of Draws to Analyzee. g. 6/4949 / 6 * 1.5 = 12.25 (About 12 draws)Good Luck

The Number of draws depends on the particular lottery program or system and game.I think that since the pick3 has only 10#s from 0-9 and 1000 combinations it would need fewer history entries than the other games,that have more than 30 numbersand millions of number combinations,and on the pick3 it would also depend on weather you want to play any or straight order.On the pick5or6 on how many numbers you want to get rightthe more numbers right the longer history draw,except in programs such as Lot... hypersonig.....sorry, just saw your question about the 2.7 years. That's just the amount of time to equal the chart of 1000 numbers. If its 7 days a week that is. More for straight hit data than anything else.

I had to discard my vote. The selections you provided have some valid values. However, there are two ways that I approach how many draws I'd use as a statistical set. The typical number of draw that is statistically sound is 1500. 1500 is O.K., but I dont have that long to wait.
