not totally giving up on the PB... just going to the 1 QP system for awhile...both cost nothing to play on paper but I wouldn't be devastated if a 3 digit pick was on my sheet and I didn't play it

hyersonig,Sorry to hear you're throwing in the towel on the jackpot games. When you think about the odds of winning a boxed hit and its payoff, are the odds really that bad in the jackpot games for the smaller prizes? Good luck to you.RJOh

I think I will continue to track both mid and eve drawings... only unlike the jackpots I decided to keep the history in CSV files, (Comma Separated Values... date , number) as it makes it easier to import into several apps... MS Access and Excel.I don't plan on playing real money on it until it can perform on paper first, and unlike the jackpot games, it wouldn't bother me if I missed out on playing the winning combo one night (or day)...Thanks for the advice so far... A couple of things...first of all I voted for midday only because I win a lot more often in it. In IL we have the balls for both drawings. I tried CA for awhile with the computer generated numbers and didn't have any success at it and it can be rigged by the state .Also, I liked WIN D's advice and statistics. I think they are important to keep in mind if you want to win more often. Just like the jackpot games you want to play the occurrences that happens most often.Good luck in the P-3 Hy... [ More ]

Hypersonig, I agree with John. It helps to focus on one or two groups. You might start off by learning all the different groups first....and then decide which one you like. Learn the expected hit rates or math averages on each group per year month and week. Just for starters: We can expect on the 7 day a week p3 game each year. 262 .......or 72% 6 way hits per year....half 2 evens 1 odd/ half 2odds 1 even half at least 2 high.......half at least two low.

Hi Hypersonig,Whatever draw you choose to play you may want to consider some of these options.When playing the three game you may want to look into specializing in an area where most of the hits are drawn from.Track and play an all odd or an all even group of pairs. Generally 2 odd or 2 even will hit on a regular basis.Track the one or two most frequently drawn digits with their pairs separately. Track a combo group that is most frequently drawn. I'm throwing in the towel on the jackpot games... some combination of I'm too stupid and they're too difficult ;-)I'm about to start working on the 3 digit numbers (in PA) where the MID_DAY is drawn by computer and the EVENING is drawn by the usual lottery machines... which one might hold better promise for being figured out ?Upon initial studying, I think the MID DAY would be easier to beat, but also easier to rig by the state... so I can't decide which way to proceed...I have night drawing...
