I use PlayLot.com whenever the jackpot reaches a certain level. If I were to get Powerball tickets myself (without the service), it would:Cost a lot more in travel expenses,Take an inordinate amount of time, and,Sometimes just be impossible. They have been extremely reliable for me, which is one of the reasons that they are one of the few advertisers here. I know them to be be honest and friendly, and I have no doubt that should I win the jackpot, I will receive my prize.

odds aren't reduceable... the only difference is the number of tickets... $1 if you can buy 'em locally or travel, And $2 with PlayLot.I have never used PlayLot, but I used to play the powerball before it was offered in PA through a multi-state lottery service in PA. The FAQ @ PlayLot reads alot like the back of the contract you got with this system... it was a green screen computer that let you pick a state and enter numbers, it also had results available after the drawings. You were able to... [ More ]

Cider,Another option you may consider is joining a lottery pool. There are some lottery pools that are honest and do not charge extra for tickets. There was a person on this forum that recently started a lottery pool. He polled the group to see how he should go about forming the group and what the conditions should be. His email address is georgia_lotto_club@yahoo.com.There are other lottery pools on the web. Be careful, though, some are pyramid schemes. My problem with Playlot is the cost.

I live in Oregon which is a Powerball state. But does not have the Mega Millions and the closest state is Washington. But I wouldn't drive to that state to play the Mega Millions because it wouldn't be cost effective. So I buy my tickets through Playlot because it is on this website. I have won only the small prizes so I don't know about the jackpot. But I trust that what Playlot sales and represents is an honest online lottery service. Besides I play the Mega Millions only when it is at 1... [ More ]

Hi,I live in a non-lottery state :-(There are several sites which offer to buy powerball and other lottery tickets for you. (One of these is www.playlot.com which advertises here at Lottery Post.) I would like to use a service like this, but I'm very leery.I just wonder how can you be sure they are really buying the tickets? I suppose it is likely they do buy the tickets and cash them in and pay the small and medium wins.... but if a ticket won big and they just decided to keep the ticket for t... [ More ]
