I've said it before, and I still believe that every ticket's a winner right up until they draw the numbers. That's when I find out I'm the owner of nothing more than a pink piece of paper with a bunch of numbers printed on it, suitable for framing or wrapping fish (apologies to Mad Magazine). I believe as long as you are buying tickets there is a chance you might win. You never know. And I still hear people winning and saying they always knew deep down they would win one day. I have been believing that ever since they began the California lottery. And I hope this is my year to win. But if you don't think you could ever win. I would say don't waste your money playing. I believe every year I have a chance of winning the jackpot as long as I buy a ticket. Of course I have been saying that I was going to win since 1993. The year I first started buying tickets.

Instead of $50 a week on lotto...I am going to blindly purchase $50 worth of penny stocks on the market each week. Should get better returns on my money. at least better than the odds of hitting the jackpot.

Now that is an interesting thought, Zeno. lol If you don't believe you you could win; why would you spend $50 a week on MegaMillions. I am assuming this is just a figure of speech. Actually it is a gut feeling that makes people believe they will win. As long as that feeling is there, their chances are multiplied.
