I dont play Cash 5 in Texas, however, I have played the Texas Two Step (4 plus BB). I can take my Pick 3 software and track each of the positions (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, BB) by treating each one of them as a Pick 3 by adding a 0 to each.....like 001, 002, 003, 004, etc....011, 012, 013, 014, 015, etc.Highest Sum Total will be 11 for 29 and it is the only Sum Total in the Teens.There will always be a constant repeat of at least 1 digit ( 0 ) and in some instances 2 digit repeat ( 0 ) for... Thanks for the replies! Lot of different ideas, but I think the answer to the question is No, there are no number generators that incorporate pretest numbers. Personally, I generate my own numbers using my 'up close and personal' system known as 'alpha-numeric substitution. I decide what number to play in each position of the combination I'm building based on a variety of 'due', 'inventory', and 'history' charts, logs, etc.It doesn't work well with Pick 3. Actually I dont care what the person standing beside the machine says or does during pre-test because Im not going to be watching anyway and with my system it doesnt matter what happens. Only drawing Im interested in is the official drawing that counts at 12:27pm and 10:12pm Monday through Saturday in Texas.Frankly I havent heard of a Lottery Commission yet saying pre-test draws will effect future outcomes....nor have I heard them say they wont. So, I guess what you believe is that if the person standing beside the machine says This is just a pre-test then the numbers that come out WILL NOT affect future draws, but if the person says OK. This is it. , now you better start paying attention because now the numbers that come out WILL affect future draws.Very interesting.

As previously stated.....because of the type of tracking I do with my record keeping, Im looking for something specific and it will happen regardless of what happens in pretest.Im looking for a specific Alpha Pattern, whether the digits Sum Odd or Even, whether 2 pairs or 3 pairs will be involved, how many digits will come from last 4 games or 5+ games.....even down to what the Sum Total of the LOP's the digits that do play will be on.LOP's to me means Level of Play . PS....yesterday I was all around that number with 5 in the 2nd position.....555-951-159-955-551-956. Just didnt anticipate a 2 digit repeat of both the 4 5 or I would have had......954 or 459

Woody = I dont find the Pre-test Draws to be of any use whatsoever in my system because of the record keeping I do. If something is going to show up as the next entry, it's going to show and it's not going to matter what one way or the other any pre-test drawing was.For instance, if I have been able to determine that the next draw is going to be something that has a SUM Total in the 20's (21-27) or say something in the Singles (0-10), it's not going to matter if the next 4-5 pre-tests ar... I think the pretest numbers are very important to the Pick 3 game.......The way I look at it if they didn't have the pretest then the first numbers out of the box would be the winners for that draw........If you look for relationships between numbers as I do then the pretest screws everything up.........I don't see how you can us the the pretest numbers in your workout as they are not published until after the winning draw........If you use the pretest numbers to do your workout then you have to... Pre-test are of no concern to me as they dont have any effect on what is going to play next. If they did, I wouldnt be able to tell 24 hrs ahead of time what was going to happen the next game.Yesterday after 025 played in Texas I had determined the next Daily Game would be a PURE and I went PURE ODD.....113. Today's Daily was PURE....however, went PURE EVEN....240! I had also determined with my system the Sum Total of the 3 digits would stay small and it did......6 compared to 7 yesterday... [ More ]

I am not happy about pretest, I believe it is a way to keep system players from winning big, quite often my number 1# is in the pretest. Other states don't do a four draw pre-test. But of course there is nothing I can do about it. I do monitor the pre-test before I play so that I don't spend alot of unnecessary money. Triples usually fall in the pretest about twice a month. usually a pair of the winning numbers will appear in the pre-test and you can also spot a possible triple in the pre-test.... [ More ]

a pretest is simply making sure the machine is working. this has nothing to do with whether or not its a square game.they are simply pretesting the machine to see if it rotates and all that crap which is totally meaningless if the balls disappear from sight for a second.before re-appearing.

lottery numbers are not random.if they know how many people won how much money 1 second after the drawing, in which cities and which stores............whats stopping them from taking a peek atwhich numbers are not played one second before the drawing and using one of those sets?nothing stops them. if you had that ability the same as they do, would you pass up the chanc e to abuse it? if it meant giving or not giving 10 million dollars to a stranger? and how much of a bonus does this person get

bobby623, I have studied them a little to see if there is something there but have never heard of a system to evaluate them. You can sometimes see the winning numbers in the preetests, especially when one number shows itself in the prestest 2 or 3 times, it might come up. You will often also see two of the winning numbers (usually boxed), minus one correct in one of the four rows accross. I think the best way to handle pretests would be to carry out whatever system you use to about 5 draws or so ahead... I do often wonder how many first pretest drawings match what systems generate...

In Texas, Pick 3 machines and ball sets are tested minimum of 4 times prior to actual drawing.
