right click on the cell, choose Format cell , then choose the Border tab and click the outline button

The only problem I have is that when I tried to paste the formula for the s/b's the cell lines disappeared..how do I put them back

too bad LP didn't have a little upload area for small excel files and stuff... wold be easy to post a sample file...libra: I'm Glad I finally have something potentially useful to contribute... Anytime I figure out a new way to use excel for pick3/4/5/5+1 or 6 I will be sure to post it. Thanks for posting this Hypersoniq. I've been trying to learn how to use Excel in the pick-3 and 4 for over a year now.This helps a lot. I sure would like to see more tips on how to set excel up to use in the pick-3 and 4 area.Libra Dave
