no,its you that misunderstood.I meant we dont need to win the jackpot instead of a 5+0 WINNER(=200,000$ PRIZE).over 99% of the people get trapped here and thats why they will never win by technical analysis.to some extend,quick pick may have a higher chance to make a small winner.goose

Is odds that important for winning? You need me to answer that. Of course the odds matter. You think Powerball would have jackpots over $100 Million if the odds were 1:400,000? It wouldn't because it would be much easier to win. What is easier to hit, a lottery where the odds are 1:135,000,000 or 1:400,000????? You don't need me to answer that.

Well that would help if you worked at a place that sold scratch-offs and you could keep track of the number of winners and the frequency, but that would exclude about 95% of us because most of us don't work at those places.

I don't live in PA but I would have to say play the numbers. In Wisconsin we have a 5/31 daily game where the odds are 1:169,000. The jackpot has gotten up to $308,000 and the average jackpot is probably around $50,000 or $60,000. I look at some of the scratch-offs and see the odds on some of those are 1:400,000 and higher and the top prize is $20,000 or $30,000. My advice is to play the numbers if you have something similar in PA. The odds are lower and the jackpots are higher and with a Pick 5... [ More ]

You must have lady luck on your side because I play quick picks alot and hardly get one number nevermind missing by one. Only time I miss by one is when I play the pick 3 sometimes.

Most I hit on Scratch off was $30. I do Quik picks on the new 6 game. I usually pick my daily number and miss by one number. I am playing 152 and 289 right now. Off and on I play the 4 pick and miss it by one number also. I do not like the twice a day draws. Sometimes I only play for the eve and the number comes out day.

I think sometimes it may depend on which scratchoffs you get. Seems they're phasing out the $1 ones,which I don't think I ever hit. I know someone who hit the $2 ones for like $20 once. I also wondered if quick picks would hit better than playing the same number all the time.

I live in Pa also and I would say the numbers. The scratch off I find is a waste of money. I can buy 5 scratch off tickets at one time and not get a winner. I buy quik picks on the different games and win something. Nothing big yet.
