Twisted...I agree that it would be very difficult for an outside hacker to do any of this without an inside connection but not so much of a problem for the lotto officials. I am not saying that the lottery is rigged at all. Just saying that if the insiders wanted to rig it, then it wouldn't seem to be much of a problem to do it, and no one would be the wiser that any wrong doings had been carried out.A lot of succesful bank robbers were known to have inside connections with employees of the... [ More ]

That would be a pretty expensive proposition to play the ones that weren't picked. usually the number of combinations that are played dont even come close to 50%. this means that you would still have over 67 million combinations to choose from.

UriGellar, If anyone Hackers or lottery employes could print up a bogus cash3 or cash4 ticket and cash it in it wouldn't take the lottery officials long to catch up. Because in Georgia they know how much was won before the numbers are drawn. And if all tickets were cashed in and was over the amount that they come up with at the end of the drawing there would be an investigation quick. But on the other hand if someone could tap into the lotto terminal system and hook up a program that would tell... [ More ]

Even if hackers were not capable of such a thing. Surley the lottery employes could print up a forged ticket with an actual ticket printing terminal. The lotto system is a man made system. If a man made it, a man can break it. So IF the lottery is rigged and thats a big IF....it would seem much easier to let the balls fall where they may and just go ahead a print up a winning ticket for the selected so called lucky winner. Not saying this would happen a lot. They might sneak a fixed game in ev... [ More ]
