Don't forget that recently a Cash 5 drawing for the PA Lottery produced over 200+ jackpot winners when the numbers 5-10-15-20-25 were drawn. Each person won about $400.Or how about the time last year in CA where the guy won the Fantasy 5 and Super Lotto on the same night.Strange, statistical anomalies DO happen. It doesn't mean something is rigged.

Especially back to back. I have seen 6/7 repeat but never like this. I'm talking about the Canadian National 6/49 where 6+B are pulled from the same drum. In about 20 yrs, 2084 draws, 6/7 has happened 5 times so far. In all cases the bonus was in amongst the numbers.Did someone actually win the pot in those UK draw... [ More ]

Abnormal dvent? Sure. Unusual? Uh, huh. Possibility? Yes. It's a game with comparatively few possibilities, given the conditions under which ordinary lotteries operate. When a game is drawn, those numbers are set - part of the record, etched in stone, whatever. The chances of drawing those same numbers the next game are still 1::18,424. No going into probability, no nothing. If that game is drawn once a day, 365 days a year, the odds are that this dvent will occur once every 50 years or so witho... [ More ]

No goose. Normal are things that happen regularly. This dvent is not normal. I would even go so far as to say it is weird. I'd put my money on fraudulent activities in that particular lotto game. The odds lean towards a fixing of the game.I dont know if that game is computer picked or uses a ball machine. But either way, I say sombody forgot to turn the cheat counter and screwed up the rotation. In other words, Those numbers were never meant to come up consecutivley.

Uri -ty for the kind words. But, in actuality, my response may be confusing due to the haste in which I posted. One has to go into probability for another possibility.Let's use the 3/49 game for an example. There are 18,424 possible draws. But the chances of achieving those 18.424 different draws in 18,424 games are extremely remote. If you were lucky enough to achieve 18,423 different draws in the first 18,423 games drawn, the odds of drawing the 18,424th different game in the next draw are sti... [ More ]

Maybe they didn't mean for it to happen that way. It could be a glitch in their system which reveals somthing other than total randomness is controlling the numbers drawn. What are the odds of 6 numbers in a 1-49 lotto coming up twice? Let alone twice consecutively as what appears to have happened here?I am curious In what order the numbers came up on both draws.
