I'm not staying up late for this one - I imagine it'll take awhile before they announce if there's a rollover or not given the amount of tickets sold. Goose, I don't think it's necessary every time someone discusses something that's not interesting to you that you make some negative comment. I happen to think it's important because it has to do with the time that a Web site will be update.I don't think a lot of your messages are particularly important, but I don't say that every time it happens. Maybe you can show some restraint.

MM does not have a set time. It is usually announced between 2:00 and 3:00 (EST), although I have seen it as early as 1:00. The official site is among the last to display the info. I don't much care for the official site for that reason - late info and pretty weak. BigGameLottery.com almost always displays the new jackpot before the official site does.Powerball does not have a set time either. Since my site is based on the popularity of numbers in grand prize drawings as well as all drawings, I only update it after I know whether or not there was a grand prize winner. Powerball I can usually update within a couple hours after the drawing because they're consistent on when they announce if there was a winner or not. But Mega Millions doesn't seem to be that way and I was wondering if anyone knew of a consistent time for them.plnwebguy

I should probably clarify my original post - what time does MM make the jackpot amount for the next drawing official? Like Powerball they had the numbers up on their site within a few minutes, but it seems like they take a long time to release the amount of the next drawing. Powerball usually has their next drawing information up within a couple hours and they have twice as many states to deal with.plnwebguy

Anyone know what time Mega Millions makes things official after a drawing? I checked their web site at 2 am est this morning, 3 hours after the drawing, and there still wasn't any word. So I just went to sleep and updated my site this morning instead. thanks -plnwebguy
