A combination cost more but guarantees the straight and boxed hit if you match all three numbers in any order.50/50 pays less but you must match all 3 for the straight.1 dollars straight pays the best but you have to match all three.So depending on how many numbers and what you can afford to pay would depend on how you would wager. Another factor is any double like 443 pay more for the box hit. I play them according to my gut feeling if I think a number is going to hit I play 50/50 and 1 dollar

I usually do the same thing as Odq99...straight/box. I once toyed around with the idea of playing all possible wagers on one 3 digit number...exact, box, front pair exact, back pair exact and first digit, figuring that if I hit, I would at least break even, but never actually did it. I do know that the MA numbers game has (or did have at one time) this option on the play slips. Regards and best wishes,Rick

When I can afford to I play str/bx. I think should have the box to get something from the number. With my luck I never catch a straight.

What type of wager do most of you play ? Straight ? Box ? Or a combination ? And in your opinion, which do you feel is the best bet for the money, given the pay out
