Old Jack wasn't the first. There was a story about a guy in Pa about 20-25 years ago who blew all of it, including a $3 Million Dollar mansion., etc. Then got in trouble with the law. Every once in a while, there is the story of someone who wins big, buys a Vette (ot other hot car), gets in trouble speeding (asnd worse), well.. one wouldn't have to look too hard to find .Right you are, DoctorEw220

When lottery players play the lottery until they win they work daily jobs to earn their income. with the earned income they know the value of a dollar.When anyone comes into a large sum of cash the temtation is there to purchase and do the many things in life they were not able to purchase on a weekly income.It's wow MONEEEEEY

Bobp I personally know of many people with gambling problems who have hit the lottery for a million dollars and after taxes which in Maryland is a whopping 27% who squandered it all at the casino's and race track. They didn't even buy a house or car, nothing they just spent it like it was water. The guy who started this thread can produce whatever film he can afford to make. I don't think we need another anti-lottery story based on a handful of people who have problems money couldn't cure. The vast majority of lottery winners bank most of the money and live normal lives without the stress of debts. RP

That's a funny question a winner who has nothing to show for it.Do you mean a winners who won and then squandered every penny of it including the things they bought with the money they won.
