Hi,in the UK you can get an online subscription. You never miss a game, they check the numbers for you and there's no doubt as to the winner.

That is weird, I never thought to sign the back of the tickets. I guess since I dont play very often, my wife does, it never crossed my mind.Does anyone do any superstitious things to their tickets as well

In Texas for pick3 you have to redeem any ticket worth $600 or more at an official lottery office. At that point don't they take taxes out of your winnings. I believe that unless I won $600 or more on any single ticket I would not sign it, so Uncle Sam would have no way of tracing any winnings back to me. My opinion is what I win I should keep and keep Uncle Sam's grubby little hands off.

The problem with immediately signing an instant ticket is that it then becomes a bearer document - like writing out a check made out to Cash and signing it before you get to the bank.

I said no, Instant tickets are ripped up by the rtailer. A validation receipt is printed out and mailed in instead, so the actual ticket is worthless, once it's cashed. However, if I had a BIG winner from a computer printed ticket, then I would. That way, if it were lost, it would be more secure. That the finder couldn't cash it.

i tend to sign the back of my tickets even before i find out if they win a prize. i guess it's just a habit i've developed over the years. i also save all of my old lottery tickets...every one since day one and i can't really explain why. it's fun to go back and review the year using the old tickets. for instance, last year i never chose either white or red #27 or #14 on any of my powerball tickets - which i discovered after reviewing the old tickets. i didn't realize that subconsciously i was a...
