I think it's horrible. Both concepts. I personally like the Super Lotto Plus. Those lower jackpots aren't even worth playing for. I'd sooner just play the Buckeye 5 and have half a chance at winning. So basically the odds will be better but the jackpots will suck. Super Lotto Plus is good cause it goes no lower than $4 million. Easy enough to retire on and live off the interest even if you take the cash option. Those concept jackpots don't float my boat. If they do away with Super Lotto... [ More ]

If Ohio returns to a 6/44 game, I have the old data base from 02/19/86 to 01/21/89, so I have the history to start picking winners right away. It was 50 a play in those days and I didn't know what I know now. In those days adding more numbers was suppose to improve the game now going back and charging more is suppose to improve the game.RJOh

Dr EW:I think Kicker needs to be retired, since it has nothing to do with Ohio Lotto, unlike PowerPlay, which enhances Powerball.

that's wrong. they should keep the kicker, but they need to let the players choose their own numbers. many a time have i wanted to play 666666, but it was never generated for me. i think the kicker would do better if players could choose their own numbers.

i would choose annuity because i read on the powerball website that if you take the annuity instead of the cash option, you would be very likely to get a refund come tax time, and that if you take the cash option, you would very likely have to pay extra in taxes.

before picking any numbers, the cash option was the first box I inked in on the stupid 6 bet slip... I used to consider the annuity on the big PB jackpots, but now I would rather have the lump sum... take the money and run (like that old Steve Miller song

you state a good point. the players should be able to make their choice, but in ohio, if you win the super lotto plus, and take annuity, you have 60 days to change your mind. if you choose cash, you're stuck with it. that's why i always choose annuity when i play it. it gives me time to get advice.

you gotta love how they used PA lottery tickets in the pictures. i hope they got copyright rights from the PA lottery, and that the PA lottery got some money out of it. i chose the second game though, the super 6 clone, simply because you could choose between annuity or cash.
