I'm actually going to miss it, but I also grew up watching game shows on daytime TV(which were alot better than the courtroom and talk stuff that's there now). I didn't like the first incarnation of the show, with Bob Eubanks, but I do like Instant Millionaire with Todd Newton. I think he's a better host than Bob Eubanks, and the show isn't as random as the Bob Eubanks show was(i.e. it is possible to devise a strategy for the games that reduces the randomness a little, though not by much).... Dr EW:IMO what most likely would encourage more states to play Hot Lotto is a higher jackpot potential.

I think the decision on whether or not to join Hot Lotto is really up to the states. The MUSL would probably approve just about any state that would want to join Hot Lotto join, so long as they were a MUSL member.

Same here, but the few times I saw the show, I enoyed it. But then, I enjoy watching game shows in general.

Lotto Czar,There was a little bit of discussion about it in the Lottery Discussion forum - https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/83763. Kansas had it's last drawing on Friday for contestants. I played the scratch off game a few times but never was that interested in the show although I would have loved to have been a contestant in order to get a free trip to Vegas.plnwebguy

I guess I won't either, dventually. Probably will be another win a second chance Jackpot/Merchandise prize game down the pike again. Time for the Annual NASCAR game again. Won a jacket, and almost a car (with a trip to the races), once. --even though I'm not a fan, I would have went. Overnight at Solit Rock, nice place. Been there several times and am going back in Sept. (Business).

Lotto Czar, I voted in your poll and left comments there.If they had the TV game on right after the Powerball drawing. it would have been more popular. Only problem is, on the east coast, that conflicts with our 11PM local newscast. I only watched the TV game show once or twice and won't miss it.Did anyone actually win one million dollars?Chas

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this before. As of the end of this month, the instant Powerball Millionaire Scratch game is history. These games varied by name and format, from state to state, but basically, mpost costs $3, and offered a grand prize of a trip to Las Vegas, to be on TV. (The last telecast is in September).Ours in Pa. (there were actually 2 of them for a while) had pretty good odds and payouts compared to the average $3 game.
