It wasn't exactly easy for us SC folks to get our lottery___they finally let the people vote and that's what got it.I am baptist BUT I don't feel that it's any worse than all the other sins committed daily,besides we only have to answer for OURSELVES come judgement day.I think NC has the most famous bible belt resident in Billy Graham,so I think that if you persist and keep spending money here and everywhere else,they'll wise up

I think that if NC gets a lottery approved in the next 18 months that it was a strategic move with TN and SC getting theirs. Afterall, then the legislators can say they had no choice because we are surrounded. I think they know it's in the best interest of the state, but they just want an out for the decision!!!NEB

It took years and years of squabbling back and forth in Tn to finally get it this year, and the Bible Belt was the reasoning everone gave It is sinful to gamble according to them.Yet the ones saying that went across the state lines to Ga, Ky,Mo,Va etc. and did there buying tickets. The people of NC.will win out in the end, It is a very good thing if the revenue is used for Education and other worth while causes.

Yeah I have heard of the Bible Belt but they know that if the people are not going to be able to play in the state they will go out of the state and that money goes to other states instead of staying in the state. That is a shame though.

Girl I am moving to NC in 2 months and I will be driving to Virginia LOL!!!! Right now I live in PA but NJ is 5 minutes across the bridge and I like to play in NJ, that's where I win most. I will be closer to VA than SC but I can't wait until NC gets the lottery!! I am surprised that they don't have it now but what is it, do the people not want the lottery or what

Great Job NBey6--Too bad I never see the numbers for SC until after the drawing...Last night I definitely did not see the 006 coming, and still don't see how it could have fallen. I know a triple is about to fall--I smell it really strong, but unsure which one to focus on. Do you have any suggestions on a triple and a hot nuber or two- three for SC for tonight?
