New York City and Connecticut aren't too far away. A lot of people from NYC drive to Connecticut to buy Powerball tickets. If all else fails, you could take a small trip into PA to get Powerball tickets.

michiganplayer you could possibly fly into BWI airport in Maryland and take the Amtrac to DC to get your lottery tickets. Both MM and PB are very similar, in terms of both odds and general prize amounts that you'll win over time. I live in a MM state, so I play it pretty regularly. hi Todd, I called myself Michigan player as it was a name I thought up all of a sudden. No idea why.Secondly, no offence, if you won the jackpot of 300 million say, you think the online companies will honour?Thirdly, UK is a sh*t expensive place. The best one would have to be New York City. A lot of Mega Millions Jackpot Winners that were sold in New York were sold in Mew York City, which is only a short drive from Connecticut, which offers Powerball.

Michiganplayer what Todd is saying is you can buy your tickets on-line without traveling to the US.I live in Maryland and sometimes go to DC to buy powerball tickets but i have also bought them in PA and Delaware. I quess if one lived on the border of the two you could walk but it's about 100 mile round trip for me to DC.The powerball website lists all the states that have the game so does the megamillion website.color=#800080Welcome to Powerballcolor=#800080Official Home of Mega Millions

Powerball currently has 28 participating states and Megamillions has 9 participating states. No state has both Powerball and Megamillions, however there are several states that border each other you could go to purchase tickets for both games. E.g., Illinois/Indiana is a good choice because Chicago borders Indiana and several $100,000+ winning tickets have been sold in that area....suburbs of Chicago and Lake County Indiana. there really is no state that carries both (i'm pretty sure they both have a no competition clause), but i think there is some parts of MA that used to be part of RI, and when RI has the state fair (or something like that), and they have lottery booths there.
