Indiana has had more Powerball jackpot winners than any other state. Iowa, the state I live in, has had only two PB jackpot winners since November 1997, and the last time a PB ticket purchased in Iowa won the jackpot was January 8, 2000.

the northeast is usually the home of the big jackpots :-) The midwest, .however is H-O-T recentlyI HOPE it's my ticket in PA...

I picked the West region because that is where I play. But you could make a case for every region because in every region their is one state that has far more winners than the rest of the regions states. The Northeast is number 1 followed by the South at number 2 then the Midwest is 3 and the west region at 4. The USVI is dead last in winners at 5. I hope for the west but reality says one of the top three will get it.
