			<description><![CDATA[<p>I think Indiana&#x27;s success at Powerball has to do with them being at the top in ticket sales from the time they joined Powerball.  They were at the top or in the top 3 ticket sales when Pennsylvania and South Carolina joined in 2002.  When Tennessee joined this year it knocked Indiana back down but still they remain in the top 5 or better of ticket sales.  So they continue to have a strong hold on powerball by their sales of tickets. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Living here in Indiana, I&#x27;ve wondered why more Hoosiers win at Powerball when compared to people in other states.The only difference I can find is the University of Notre Dame is located in South Bend, Indiana, home of the Fighting Irish. Could it be the Luck of the Irish rubs off on Indiana?Notice the current Powerball amount began on St. Patrick&#x27;s Day, March 17th. Coincidence?This is just fun and interesting to note.</p>]]></description>
