dragon,No, I beg to differ. I have hundreds of thousands of hits at BigGameLottery.com all at once, and I'm just fine, thank you.In fact, I probably had more hits at 11:00 than most of the other state lottery sites. The reason they don't perform well is that they obviously did not build an architecture that can handle the load, whereas I did. Also, your analysis of my counter on Lottery Post is wrong. It does not use a cookie, and it is an extremely conservative counter. Pathetic, but it makes me feel like I'm doing a good job.I am sure the official sites have a different traffic load entirely. Litterally hundreds of thousands of people will go there and check numbers at times like this, so you're probably not compa... [ More ]

It's undoubtedly due to the rush of people going to BigGameLottery.com to check their Mega Millions numbers, and then following the links over here. The servers held up with absolutely no problem. I was watching their performance stats real-time tonight, and I could easily handle 5 or 10 times the load I was getting - which is up there with just about any big site. My upgrades over the past year have really paid off!Just for kicks I checked out each of the eleven state Web sites after 11:00, an... [ More ]

You had a 50% jump in your previous record in a few days. Perhaps you have reached the tipping point? Just hope your server bank is up to the job.
