			<description><![CDATA[<p>I work in a Lotto Store, and we card teens.  Must be 18 to play.I see a lot of sick players come in and play up to $140 a night on scratchies and leave disappointed. The most interesting thing about working there is all the tickets with winners I find in trash.  The first month I found over $400 bucks.  I now use the money found to play my Cash 3.  I dont find as much as in the beginning. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Forth choice, the states could consider not making crimes out of things that are hardly criminal.  It isn&#x27;t as though lottery is a gateway to gambing and pinball/video arcades are perfectly healthy. Oh well, wonder what the outcome by now would be if I had bought a lottery ticket a week out of my paper route money and won an amount exciting to a kid. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Homeless or not, any State lottery official&#x27;s and/or the game doesn&#x27;t put a limit to whom can purchase their state lottery tickets.  Everyone has a chance in their life to have a feeling of luck, and hopes of winning something. I, myself, would rather see someone who works hard at earning an income and supporting their famlies winning the lottery, or a homeless person hitting the Jackpot than some millionair or a more wealthy person win it, who really doesn&#x27;t even need it.</p>]]></description>

All of these devices are legal, but alcohol and/or cigarettes have a much more negative effect on society than does the lottery. When I play it doesn&#x27;t have any affect your family. But if I drink too much and decide to drive home - then I can not only affect my life, but your life as well. I was just thinking about the homeless or, taking it one step further, the park drunks who are always asking for a handout to buy more liquor.  Some of the homeless are not broke; they have a couple dollars or even more (if their $$$ isn&#x27;t stolen). Finally, they should play...perhaps if they win -- they can help themselves.  Remember, our taxes pay for them, too.</p>]]></description>
